Welcome to Human Mosh — a place for artists and creators to share beats, audio, and other creative files (“Content”).
The goal is simple: upload what you own (or have permission to use), and use Content responsibly.
This summary is for convenience only and is not legally binding.
It’s a quick overview of the main points. For full details, read the complete Content License
here.
🎸 Who owns the music?
- ✓ The artist/creator keeps full ownership of their music and uploads.
- ✓ Uploading Content means the uploader is saying: “I own this, or I have permission to share it.”
- ✕ Human Mosh does not sell, transfer, or “give you” copyright ownership of anyone’s music.
✅ What can you do with Content?
You can use Content according to the Content License — but only to the extent the uploader actually has rights to grant.
In plain terms: the license covers their original work (or properly cleared work), not someone else’s music.
- ✓ Use Content as part of your creative projects, subject to the full license terms.
- ✓ Edit, remix, or adapt Content when allowed by the license.
- ✓ If you want extra permission beyond the license, you can always ask the artist directly.
❌ What can’t you do with Content?
These rules protect creators and keep the platform fair:
- ✕ No “free pass” for third-party music: This summary (and the platform) does not grant you permission to use copyrighted songs, samples, acapellas, instrumentals, or recordings you don’t own or haven’t cleared.
- ✕ No standalone re-uploads/sales: Don’t sell, distribute, or repost Content “as-is” without meaningful creative transformation (and without meeting the full license rules).
- ✕ No misleading claims: Don’t imply an artist endorsed you, or claim you own Content you didn’t create.
- ✕ No illegal or harmful use: Don’t use Content in ways that break the law, violate rights, or target/harass people.
- ✕ No trademark misuse: Don’t use logos/brands/trademarks in ways that create false affiliation or endorsement.
Good rule of thumb: If you didn’t make it, don’t assume it’s cleared.
If you’re unsure, ask the creator, or use original/cleared material.
Responsibility + liability: You’re responsible for making sure you have the rights to upload and use Content.
Human Mosh doesn’t provide legal clearance for third-party music and isn’t responsible for how users reuse Content.
We may remove Content if we believe it violates someone’s rights.

Content License.
Thanks for helping keep Human Mosh fair, creator-first, and built for the scene.
