Dive into the journey of this incredible artist who began his musical path at just 18 in Dublin's vibrant busking scene. It was during this time of emotion and creativity that MUNDY crafted unforgettable hits like 'Gin & Tonic Sky' and 'Life’s A Cinch'. With his talent recognized, he quickly joined the ranks of Sony’s Epic Records and Warner Chappell Music.
His debut album, 'Jelly Legs', released in October 1996, received critical acclaim and sold over 50,000 copies! But it was his stunning single 'To You I Bestow', featured on the iconic soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet, that shot him to international fame, contributing to the soundtrack's incredible 11 million sales.
MUNDY has since released eight more albums, showcasing his unique blend of acoustic, folk-based pop/rock through his own label, Camcor Records. His album 'Raining Down Arrows' debuted at number 1 on the Irish charts, and his rendition of 'Galway Girl' featuring Sharon Shannon won multiple awards, including the Meteor Music award for 'Best Male'.
Throughout his career, MUNDY has shared the stage with legends like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Oasis, and even performed for President Obama at the White House during St. Patrick's Day celebrations!
