Get ready to rock! Join us for MAP mima Rocks at the stunning Multi-Arts Pavilion (MAP mima) in Lake Macquarie. This electrifying afternoon is packed with gritty, high-energy alternative and grunge sounds that will take you back to the heart of the 90s!
It's a free, all-ages celebration of local talent featuring:
- Five killer bands
- One raw and unapologetic vibe
- A loud love letter to 90s angst and indie edge
Bring your mates, don your flannel, and let the fuzzed-out guitars and heavy riffs hit you right in the feels!
Venue and Weather Info: MAP mima Rocks is an outdoor event, and the seating area is uncovered. We'll rock on rain or shine, but in case of extreme weather, the concert may be canceled for safety. If that happens, all ticket holders will be notified via email.
Food and Drink: Enjoy a variety of locally sourced beers, wines, and ciders at our on-site bar, alongside soft drinks and tasty snacks like crisps and chocolate bars.
What to Bring:
- BYO fold-up chairs or picnic blankets
- Credit or debit cards for cashless payments
- Identification
- Weather-appropriate attire (hats and sunscreen)
- Ponchos or waterproof clothing (no umbrellas)
- Water bottles for our refill stations
Guests are welcome to bring their own food. However, please note the following prohibited items:

- Glass
- Aerosol cans
- Umbrellas, marquees, or shade tents
- Any dangerous items or those that could cause a public nuisance
