About Florist:
Born from the serene Catskill Mountains, Florist started as a friendship project among Emily Sprague, Rick Spataro, and Jonnie Baker, later joined by Felix Walworth. Their early albums, Holdly (2015) and The Birds Outside Sang (2016), beautifully capture the essence of their bond through intimate and resilient melodies. These songs, especially the latter, symbolize healing and community, showcasing the power of shared sound among friends.
Over the years, Florist has continued to evolve, exploring themes of grief and memory in If Blue Could Be Happiness (2017) and introspection in Emily Alone (2019). Their self-titled album, Florist (2022), is a testament to their collaborative spirit, while their latest release, Jellywish (2025), embraces surrealism and the complexities of existence. Celebrate a decade of growth with the reissue of Holdly and The Birds Outside Sang, which highlight the tenderness and friendship at the heart of Florist's journey.
