We’re Spinewater—a U.S. band forged under pressure, not polish. We grew up on cracked sidewalks, basement shows, and the kind of noise that sticks with you long after the amps cut out. Our sound is heavy, raw, and restless—built from the friction between control and collapse. We live in the space where thick riffs grind into uneasy melodies and the vocals feel more like a confession than a performance. You’ll hear metal, grunge, hardcore, and post-punk in what we do, but we don’t stay in one lane. We take what’s real, leave what isn’t, and chase the feeling over the formula. Lyrically, we lean inward. Our songs aren’t slogans—they’re snapshots: anger, doubt, relief, and the fight to keep moving. We write about isolation, resilience, decay, and survival without dressing it up or sanding the edges down. We’re not here to chase trends or play nice for algorithms.
